There are those who think the big difference between a condo and a house is that a house has a back yard and a condo doesn’t. That certainly is one of the differences but there is much more to it than that. When you set out to buy either a house or Miami beachfront condos it is important that you decide which is right for you.

What is right for you?

There is only one person who can answer that question, and that is the person who is making the choice between a house and a condo. It boils down to lifestyle, the individuals wants and needs. If you have a large family then logic says that a house with a big back yard for the kids to run around in is best. If it is important to you that you do not have to share space with anybody and that you want complete control over your residence, then once again, a house is probably the better choice.

On the other hand, if you have a busy lifestyle and yard work does not fit into your plans and you want to simplify your life, then the better choice would be Miami beachfront condos. If you have finished raising your family and all the children are on their own but you still do not want to go high-rise, then a bungalow condo is probably an ideal solution. If you are a first time home buyer, you may feel that a condo is the best choice for you to get into the market because of the price.

There are many different options for both condos and houses. For many years the tradition was to own a single family home, this is changing and changing quickly. The demand for condominiums has steadily grown and today there are many new developments which provide excellent value and amenities. Apartment style condos are ideal for those who do not need a great deal of space; they often have secure underground parking and controlled entrances. A townhouse style condo is more suitable for people who want more space and more privacy and a bungalow style is often as roomy as a house but with no maintenance chores to contend with.

Both a house and a condo are great investments, as the real estate market continues to grow so will the need for affordable living and condos are a great first step to becoming a home owner.
